These files include both the short action model for M558, M590, and M595 (Tikka: S5840175) and the long action model for M658, M690, and M695 (Tikka: S5840180).

This is a high quality set of 6 components that replaces the magazine ejector and magazine release lever which is housed within the factory trigger guard. The original spare parts kit (Tikka reference: S5840260) has been discontinued, and the replacement lever by itself (Tikka reference S3321521) is difficult to find in stock anywhere. Our lever is not injected molded plastic, instead we CNC machine them from 17-4 PH stainless steel and then apply a very durable black PVD coating which means a steel lever is securely locking up a steel magazine. Tikka’s decision to use plastic components to save cost on these otherwise fine and accurate rifles has resulted in many of them now showing their age. The original plastic magazine release lever often fails (snaps) along the axis of the dowel pin hole and/or the tip of the lever can become deformed over time – both of which which render the rifle useless as a magazine-fed repeater.
