DNT Optics ZULUS 4K — Tube-Style Digital Day/Night Vision Scope with Laser Rangefinder & DNT Ballistic Engine
The ZULUS 4K is a different kind of DNT Optics scope — no thermal channel, no dual-sensor fusion. Instead, a single Sony STARVIS 2 4K CMOS sensor does it all: true 3840×2160 colour by day, and a genuine low-light image as the sun goes down, all in a classic 30mm tube-style riflescope body with real turrets and standard rings rather than a monocular housing. Add a built-in 5–1,300-yard laser rangefinder, the DNT Ballistic Engine for instant holdover, and 3–24x magnification with 6x lossless digital zoom, and you’ve got a genuine all-in-one optic for hunters and long-range shooters who want 4K clarity without the bulk or price of a fusion scope.

Key features
- True 4K day/night sensor: A single 1/1.8″ Sony STARVIS 2 CMOS sensor delivers 3840×2160 (4K) resolution in daylight and a clear, natural-contrast image well into low light — no thermal channel, no PIP mode, just one sensor covering a wide range of conditions.
- 3–24x magnification with 6x lossless digital zoom: A 50mm f/1.8 ED glass objective lens keeps the image bright and sharp across the full zoom range.
- Built-in laser rangefinder: Ranges out to 1,300 yards (5-yard minimum), with an instant readout overlaid on the display.
- DNT Ballistic Engine: Instant trajectory resolution with single-pulse holdover, synced to the DNT app over WiFi for saved ballistic profiles.
- Classic 30mm tube-style body: Unlike DNT’s monocular-style ThermNight scopes, the ZULUS 4K mounts like a traditional riflescope — two included 30mm rings (model OR30126, 1.26″ centre height) rather than a proprietary rail mount.
- 0.49″ Micro-OLED display: Records in 4K-30fps or 1080p-60fps, with a fast-focus dioptre adjustment for a sharp reticle regardless of eyesight.
- 9 reticle styles in 5 colours: Pick the reticle and colour that stands out best against your background.
- 64GB internal storage and WiFi: Onboard recording plus live feed sync, video management and social sharing through the DNT app.
- Adaptive noise reduction and a tuned microphone: Cleaner low-light footage and usable on-video audio.
- IP67 waterproof and dustproof, rated to .50 BMG recoil: Aircraft-grade aluminium tube built to handle heavy-caliber recoil and the elements.
- 2× 21700 batteries included: Up to 6 hours of runtime per charge, with the included charger.
One 4K sensor. Day into night.
Worth knowing up front: the ZULUS 4K doesn’t have a built-in IR illuminator. It’s built around getting the most out of natural and ambient light — daylight colour, dusk, moonlight — rather than punching through pitch darkness the way an illuminated or thermal optic does. DNT recommends pairing it with an external IR illuminator for genuinely lightless conditions. Where it excels is everything short of that: a single scope that goes from full-colour daylight glassing to a clear, detailed monochrome image as the light fades, with no channel to switch and no illuminator sleeve to manage.
Rangefinder and ballistics, working together
The built-in laser rangefinder and DNT Ballistic Engine are designed to work as one system — range the target, and the reticle’s holdover value updates instantly. Real footage below: a javelina at 397 yards in low light, ranged and with a live 1.5 MRAD holdover displayed on screen, no separate rangefinder or ballistic app required.
