With this second-generation update, Area 419 has retained compatibility with most Gen 1 accessories while introducing critical enhancements to performance, ergonomics, and usability. Major Upgrades & Features

• Firmer Linkage — The linkage has been re-engineered so you can seat your shellholder with the desired firmness and control, allowing “cam-over” and float features below a die.

• Smoother Stroke — Subtle but meaningful refinements in the ram, bearings, and internal surfaces make every press even more fluid and reliable.

• Ergonomic Convenience — Added features such as a detent in the primer tray and a torque tool storage slot make bench time more efficient and user-friendly.

• Accessory Compatibility — Fully compatible with Gen 1 stands, trays, shellholders, turrets, and other accessories (though adjustments may be needed owing to the new linkage).

• Precision Construction — Made in Ohio from American-sourced raw materials, the press uses a PTFE-lined bearing, precision-ground ram, and custom linkage to minimize friction and slop.

• Turret System — Change between dies quickly with a zero-slop turret head. The turret indexing has repeatability variance of less than 0.0005″.

• Case Capacity & Die Acceptance — The press accommodates cases up to .338LM, accepts standard 7/8″ dies, and provides 4.4″ ram stroke and 4.75″ total opening.

• Primer Catch & Decapping System — Internally integrated, no external jars or hoses required.

• Solid Build & Bench-Ready — Ships with a bolt-down base plate. Also compatible with mounting stands from Big Dog Steel or Inline Fabrication.
