DNT Optics TNC635R ThermNight — Thermal & Night Vision Multi-Spectral Scope with Laser Rangefinder & Ballistic Calculator

The TNC635R ThermNight is the flagship of DNT Optics’ fusion scope range — a 640×512 thermal channel, the largest sensor in the ThermNight lineup, paired with a 1920×1080 Sony STARVIS 2 night vision channel that doubles as a genuine day/colour channel in good light. Switch between them with one button, or run Picture-in-Picture to see thermal detection and a clear digital image side by side. A 1,100-yard laser rangefinder, DNT’s ballistic engine with digital gyroscope, and one-shot zeroing on both channels round it out — built for hunters and shooters who want the sharpest possible thermal picture at genuine long range.

See it in action

Key features

  • Dual-sensor fusion: A 640×512 thermal channel (35mm lens, 1.5x base, 1.5–6x digital) alongside a 1920×1080 Sony STARVIS 2 channel (5x base, 5–20x digital) that works as both a night vision and a daylight/colour channel.
  • The largest thermal sensor in the ThermNight range: Stepping up to 640×512 resolution gives a noticeably sharper, more detailed heat picture than the 225R and 335R, with a wider thermal field of view (12.52° × 10.02°) for scanning ground quickly before zooming in on what matters.
  • Picture-in-Picture (PIP) mode: View thermal detection and the clear digital channel in the same frame — spot the heat signature, then confirm what it is.
  • Works day and night: The Sony STARVIS 2 channel delivers a genuine colour image in daylight as well as at night, so the same scope covers a still hunt at dusk and a follow-up look the next morning.
  • Integrated laser rangefinder: Class 3R eye-safe, ranging out to 1,100 yards.
  • Built-in ballistic calculator with digital gyroscope: DNT’s ballistic engine gives dial-in or holdover solutions, with cant and inclination correction from the onboard gyroscope.
  • Thermal Zoom Lock: Keeps your zoom level consistent on the thermal channel as you switch magnification, so you don’t lose your target while adjusting.
  • One-shot zeroing on both channels: Zero the thermal and night vision channels independently, each holding its own zero.
  • 8 reticle styles in 5 colours: Pick the reticle and colour that stands out best against your background.
  • 1920×1080 Micro-OLED display: Shared by both channels, at 60Hz.
  • WiFi enabled with DNT app support: Stream, review and manage footage from your phone.
  • Built-in 64GB memory: Onboard storage shared with the TNC335R, double the entry TNC225R.
  • 800Gs shock rating and IP67 waterproofing: Built to handle heavy recoil and keep working through rain, dust and mud.

Built for long range

The TNC635R is the ThermNight to reach for when the shot is a long way out. The larger 640×512 sensor holds detail at distance that a lower-resolution thermal channel simply can’t resolve, and paired with the 1,100-yard rangefinder and gyroscope-corrected ballistic engine, it’s built around genuine precision shooting rather than just detection.

One scope, day into night

Most thermal/night vision combo scopes are still built around the dark. The TNC635R’s second channel is a genuine daylight-capable colour sensor as well as a low-light one, so you can glass a paddock in full colour in the afternoon, watch the light fade, and switch to thermal or PIP once it’s properly dark — all on the same scope, without swapping optics.

640×512 thermal, the sharpest yet

The thermal channel steps up again from the TNC335R’s 384×288 sensor to a full 640×512, with ≤18mK thermal sensitivity for the cleanest, most detailed heat picture in the ThermNight range.
